The Akan Art Gallery displays works by artists who have a connection to Lake Akan.
In the permanent exhibition on the second floor, you can enjoy the images of wildlife in the nature, taken by Makoto Ando, a guide and photographer who lives in Tsurui Village, next to Akan.
There is also a working space on the first floor, where you can also enjoy coffee and tea!

Moka is an old-fashioned coffee shop with a slightly dark interior that is comfortable and gives you the feeling that time passes slowly.
In addition to hot drinks, Zenzai(japanese sweet soup with beans and ricecake), which is unique to winter in Japan, is sure to warm your body from the core!
