#1 Akanko 〇〇 Marche
Life at Lake Akan is a little different from living in the city.
Nature is very close that you can feel the changing seasons, take a hot spring bath on a daily basis, and in the winter, enjoy winter sports at a ski resort just a few minutes away by car. There are ``"orndinary life" that are different from those in urban areas.
On the other hand, there are few things that make life here inconvenient, that "there is no supermarket!".
Although there are drugstores and convenience stores, the fresh food options are not as good as supermarkets in the city.
Additionally, due to the pandemic, various local events have been scaled down or canceled, meaning there are fewer opportunities for people in the town to enjoy themselves.
Meanwhile, volunteer members from the town who also wanted to hold a marche event got together and started holding the "Akanko 〇〇(marumaru) Marche" this summer!
What is Akanko 〇〇 Marche?
This is an event where people who have same wish that they want to make their everyday life in lake Akan more fulfilling come together and make their wish come true.
The keywords that fall into 〇〇 change each time, and there are as many possibilities as there are ideas and connection of the people.
Marche created from scratch
The Marche started from scratch, and the members spent nights and days developing plans while soaking their feet in the footbaths, and working together to create signs, name plates, objects, etc. to be used at the Marche.
▲Everyone worked together to create each signboard, from designing, making canvas, and creating the colors.
The Marche event, which was completed by gathering each handmade part, is full of warm atmosphere.
The “pleasure” of people living in the town of Lake Akan
〇〇 Marche will not only sell vegetables, but also expecting to sell sweets and bread, hold fun projects such as craft workshops every month, and hope to establish it as a `"pleasure" for the people of Lake Akan.
We are looking forward to seeing how Marche will grow in the future with the motto of making life at Lake Akan more enjoyable and enriching!
Of course, tourists are also welcome at the Marche event!
