Rich flavor ice cream and gelato which used milk of Akan

In our previous two articles, we introduced the Akan International Crane Center and Roadside Station Akan Tancho no Sato along Route 240.

As you travel further north in the direction of Lake Akan Onsen, you will gradually see more and more of the peaceful dairy farm landscape.

In fact, the Akan area is home to numerous dairy farms and the dairy farming industry is very popular here.

Driving along a long straight road, a red-roofed building appear along the way.

This is "Akkan Bay", a shop offering delicious and great ice cream and gelato!

When you go inside the shop, your eye will soon be drawn to the gelato section on the right.

So amazing that there are 14 different flavors offered here.

Some of the flavors such as pumpkin, strawberry millefeuille, pistachio, and others that are not usually seen.

So fun just to look through the glass!

Despite the rich flavor and variety of flavors offered, the price is really reasonable!

Sundaes are also very popular here!

Another feature of Akkan Bay is the choice of four different types of cones.

There are hundreds of combinations of cones and gelato!

It might be fun to share each other's gelato with your family and friends!

Akkan Bay’s products are made from milk produced at a dairy farm in Akan Town, and have a very rich flavor.

And the ice cream and gelato are made from 100% raw milk!

Ice cream here is highly praised by local people either!

Tables are set up outside the shop, so you can take a break while enjoying the peaceful natural scenery of Akan!
